Swamp Sweeper.
Lunch is lurking. So is everything else.

“If it buzzes, it’s lunch.”
How to make a terrible decision
- Set the buffet. Choose 1–24 hidden crocs and a seed of at least 1 krk, up to your balance. Starting costs that seed.
- Pick a pad. A fly raises the multiplier. A croc ends the round and loses the seed and unbanked reward.
- Bank lunch. After at least one safe pick, collect seed × multiplier. Total payout includes your seed. Clearing every safe pad banks automatically.
- See what was lurking. Untouched flies and crocs appear faintly after banking or losing. A new hunt resets all pads.
Crocs are placed randomly once at the start and stay fixed. All hidden pads have the same chance; no visual clues predict a croc. Seed and croc count lock during play. Animations do not change outcomes. Sound starts only when enabled. Calm visuals and device reduced-motion settings are supported. This is a single-player browser demo with no real money.
The numbers behind the nonsense
Current selection: 3 crocs. Chance means surviving every pick up to that point.
| Safe picks | Chance to reach | Bank multiplier |
|---|
With C crocs and K safe picks, survival probability P is the product of (25 − C − i) / (25 − i), for i = 0…K − 1. The raw multiplier is 0.97 / P. Each safe pick makes the next croc risk C / (25 − K) larger. Multipliers and payouts round down to two decimals, so actual theoretical return is slightly below 97%, depending on seed and target. There is no added multiplier cap: the maximum depends on the chosen croc count and clearing all safe pads. Randomness uses browser crypto with an unbiased shuffle. Original prototype rules; not SPRIBE’s implementation or certified statistics, and no server-verifiable fairness claim.
